报告摘要：
We consider the numerical solution of a c-stable linear equation in the tensor product space $\mathbb{R}^{n_1 \times \cdots \times n_d}$ of order $d$, arising from the discretization of an elliptic partial differential operator in $\mathbb{R}^d$. The classical Cayley transform is generalized, producing an equivalent d-stable generalized Stein equation which can be solved iteratively. For large-scale problems defined by sparse and structured matrices, the methods can be modified for further efficiency, producing algorithms of $O(\sum_i n_i)$ computational complexity, under appropriate assumptions. Some illustrative numerical examples will be presented.
朱景华教授个人简介
朱景华教授，现为世界百强名校澳大利亚莫纳什大学（Monash University）数学科学学院高级研究员。1976年于香港中文大学数学系获得学士学位，1978和1981年于英国的巴斯大学（University of Bath）数学系先后获得硕士学位和博士学位。主要研究领域涉及科学计算，控制论，最优化，积分方程以及数值分析等。先后访问过加拿大的卡尔加里大学，滑铁卢大学，美国北伊利诺爱大学，英国牛津大学，新加坡国立大学，香港中文大学，台湾”清华大学”，台湾大学，台湾交通大学，台湾师范大学，北京大学，复旦大学，东北师范大学等高校。已在国际重要学术期刊，SIAM J. Sci. Comp.，SIAM J. Numer. Anal.，SIMA J.Matrix Anal. Appl.，IEEE Trans. Autom. Control，Numer. Math.，Numer. Lin.
